Julie Fasone Holder Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing, Sales and Reputation Officer

Julie Fasone Holder is senior vice president, Chief Marketing, Sales and Reputation Officer for The Dow Chemical Company. She is a member of the company's Management Committee, serves on the Sustainability and People operational teams, and has executive oversight for Dow's activities in the United States.

In her 30-year career with Dow, Fasone Holder has held a variety of commercial and functional leadership positions across the United States with local, national and global responsibilities.

She joined Dow in San Francisco as a sales representative in 1975. In 1981, she became a marketing manager for Dow's Polyurethanes business, where she worked for several years before assuming the role of District Sales Manager for Dow Latex. In 1989, she became the Group Marketing Manager for Formulation Products until being named Global Business Director for several Performance Chemicals businesses in 1994. From 1997 to 2000, she was Director of Sales and Marketing for Dow's Performance Chemicals business unit. From 2000 to 2004, she was Business Vice President of Industrial Chemicals. She became Business Vice President for the Specialty Plastics and Elastomers group in 2004  and in 2006, she became the corporate vice president for Public Affairs and Human Resources, along with the executive oversight for Dow's activities in Latin America.

Fasone Holder is a strong advocate for the advancement of women in the workplace.  She is one of the founders of Dow's Women Innovation Network (WIN), a network of men and women focused on maximizing the professional contributions women make to Dow.

She has been recognized both within Dow and externally for her contributions.  In 1999, she was awarded Dow's prestigious GENESIS Award for people excellence, which is Dow's highest recognition for people leadership.  In their November/December 2006 issue, the Profiles in Diversity Journal highlighted Fasone Holder in their feature, Women Worth Watching in 2007.  The National Association for Female Executives honored her as their Woman of Achievement at their January 2007 national conference.

Fasone Holder resides in Midland, Michigan. She serves on The Dow Chemical Company Foundation board and is also a Consulting Director for Wolverine Bank.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University
